Jenny Leis (Meyer), BA, CHRL has a diverse range of work experience. Jenny began their career at Plastico Industries Ltd. in 2006 as a Human Resources Assistant. Jenny then worked at SRG as a Bruce Nuclear Power Project Liaison - Recruiter from 2006 to 2007. Following this, they joined Hayashi Canada Inc. as a Human Resources Group Leader, where they served as a strategic partner with the senior management team and oversaw all HR functions from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, Jenny transitioned to Economical Insurance as a Specialist in Employee Relations. During their time there, they provided OD consultation to the business, worked on redesigning structures, and utilized various assessment tools. In 2016, they became an Advisor in Organizational Development at Economical Insurance, focusing on strengthening leadership capabilities and supporting organizational culture. Jenny then joined OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan) in 2018 as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Jenny worked their way up to become the Human Resources Services Manager, followed by the role of Organizational Development Business Partner. Currently, Jenny is the Senior Manager of HR Operations at OTIP, and starting in January 2024, they will assume the position of Director, Employee Experience Operations.
Jenny Leis (Meyer), BA, CHRL obtained a Diploma in Human Resources from Fanshawe College, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 2005. In addition to their formal education, Jenny has obtained various certifications including Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations from LinkedIn and Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2023. Jenny is also CHRL certified and has completed a certification in the Change Management process according to Prosci methodologies and tools from AdPro Change Systems Inc.
