Jimmy Moya-Mendez

Jimmy Moya-Mendez serves as the New Product Introduction Manager for Mechanical Supply Chain Management at Otis Elevator Co. since December 2021. Moya-Mendez previously held the position of Engineering Manager for Electrification at ABB, leading a team in developing low and medium voltage breakers and switch gear protective relays. Prior experience includes Engineering Manager for Automation at ESAB, where responsibilities encompassed new product development and talent management within the Automation Solutions division. Moya-Mendez also served as Project Engineer at A. O. Smith Corporation, focusing on commercial water heaters and boilers, and held positions as Plant Engineer and Automation Technician earlier in a career that began with hands-on engineering roles. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kennedy-Western University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Francis Marion University.
