Altin Gjika

Altin Gjika has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Altin is currently working as the CIO at OTP Bank Albania since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Societe Generale Albania as an IT Manager starting from October 2008. Altin also served as an Assistant IT Manager at Banka Kombetare Tregtare (BKT), Albania from June 2000 to September 2008.

In addition, Altin worked as a Consultant Computer Programmer (part-time) at IFDC from July 2000 to 2003. Altin also held the position of an Assistant Lecturer (part-time) at Tirana University, Faculty of Economics from 1995 to 2001.

Earlier in their career, Altin worked as a GIS Specialist/Computer Programmer at USAID/SARA project in Albania from 1995 to 1999. Altin also worked as a GIS Specialist at IFDC from 1992 to 1995.

Altin Gjika holds a Bachelor's degree in informatics from the University of Tirana, which they obtained from 1987 to 1992. Altin then pursued a Master's degree in Business Management & Technology at The University of Sheffield from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Altin Gjika has embarked on further educational endeavors by studying Cybersecurity and Its Ten Domains through the University System of Georgia on Coursera since 2016.
