Dorina Duka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dorina began their career in 2003 as a Coordinator at Albanian Red Cross, where they led awareness campaigns and conducted information sessions. In 2010, they worked as an Actuary at Intersig SHA, where they handled statistical reports, premium calculations, and risk analysis. Dorina then joined Interbrands SHA as a Database Administrator in 2011, focusing on documentation, maintenance, and implementation of applications. In 2012, they worked as a Lecturer at Davidi Center before moving on to Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania in 2013. At the bank, they contributed to the development of IT solutions, participated in software development and testing, and worked on information asset development. In 2019, they joined Facilization as a Product Specialist, where they gained knowledge in Flexcube and OBP extensibility and analyzed customer requirements. Currently, they serve as the Head of Interface Development at OTP Bank Albania, leading interface development projects and utilizing their expertise in DWH/BI development.
Dorina Duka has a strong educational background in mathematics, computer science, and information science. Dorina earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Science/Studies from the Faculty of Natural Sciences in 2008, followed by a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution in 2010. Prior to these academic achievements, Dorina attended NAIM FRASHERI from 2001 to 2005.
In addition to their formal education, Dorina has also obtained several certifications. Dorina completed the "Advanced Microsoft Power BI" certification from LinkedIn in March 2021, the "Cert Prep: PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner" certification from LinkedIn in February 2021, and the "Power BI Essential Training" certification, also from LinkedIn, in February 2021.
