Maria Valbona Vila

Maria Valbona Vila has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Maria Valbona began their career as a news announcer in the Albanian language for Radio Athens 9,84 from September 1999 to November 2001. Maria Valbona then joined Petropoulos Ltd - Albania Interlines Ltd as an interpreter and worked in the accounting department from September 1999 to September 2003.

In 2004, Maria Valbona Vila joined Alpha Bank Albania, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, they worked as a Credit Specialist from October 2004 to September 2007. Following that, they served as a Supervisor at the Loan Support Section from September 2007 to July 2009. Finally, they were promoted to the position of Head of Wholesale Loans Administration Section, where they worked from July 2009 to November 2022.

Most recently, Maria Valbona Vila joined OTP Bank Albania as the Head of Loan Disbursements in December 2022.

Maria Valbona Vila has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Economic Faculty at Tirana University. Maria Valbona also completed a training program for Albanian bankers at FSVC, focusing on Loan Administration and Credit Risk. Maria Valbona obtained a Diploma in Banking from the ISSAT Institute of Strategic Studies and Training. Additionally, they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University "Sevasti & Parashqevi Qiriazi" with a specialization in Business Administration and Management. Maria Valbona Vila has also completed the Interdepartmental Program of the Teaching of Modern Greek as a Foreign Language at the University of Athens School of Philosophy.
