Zoltan Balazs

Zoltan Balazs, MBA, is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in risk management, real estate finance, and asset management. Currently serving as Deputy CEO of the Risk Division at OTP Bank Romania since February 2020, Zoltan previously held prominent positions including CEO of Erste Real Estate and Head of Real Estate and Structured Finance at Erste Bank Hungary from September 2012 to February 2020. Zoltan's expertise encompasses distressed assets, project financing, and restructuring, with a rich background that also includes advisory roles at Banca Comerciala Romana and executive management at MKB Bank and K&H Group. Zoltan is highly educated with multiple MBA degrees in Banking and Entrepreneurship from esteemed institutions such as the Weatherhead School of Management and Central European University, along with a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Support Services.
