Dale Steeber

Dale Steeber has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Dale started their career as an Experienced Software Developer, Manager, and Consultant, working at various companies from 1995 to 2000. In 2000, they became an IT Architect at Citadel Inv Group until 2001.

From 2002 to 2006, Dale worked as the Vice President of BPP Systems at Northern Trust, leading a technology department and overseeing large-scale projects. Dale then joined Rapid Solutions Group as the Director of Information Technology from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Dale was appointed as the Head of Technology at the University of Chicago's Office of Investments, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive technology strategy.

Afterward, they served as the VP of Technology at Backstop Solutions Group, a SaaS company, from 2013 to 2016. In this role, they provided strategic direction and ensured best practices in development, operations, and data center deployment.

Dale further contributed to the technology industry as the VP of Application Development at Mesirow Financial from 2016 to 2017. Dale then became the CTO at CarAdvise from 2017 to 2018.

Currently, they hold the position of CTO at OTR Transportation, Inc. since 2018. Additionally, Dale served as a Tech Advisor at Hangar A from January 2022 to June 2022.

Dale Steeber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which they attended from 1987 to 1992. Dale then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from DePaul University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Dale also obtained several certifications, including becoming a Basketball & Football Official accredited by WIAA and IHSA OFFICIAL in October and November 2019, respectively. Dale also earned a Private Pilot certification from the FAA in October 2000.
