Shelby MacLeish

Shelby MacLeish is an experienced education and project coordinator in environmental and student development settings. Currently serving as the Project and Education Coordinator for the Otsego County Conservation Association since September 2022, Shelby previously held the position of Associate Dean of Student Development at Deep Springs College from December 2012 to June 2022, where responsibilities included supporting student success across various dimensions of college life. Additionally, Shelby has experience in managing educational programs at institutions such as Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture and W. Alton Jones, focusing on curriculum development and experiential learning for students. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's in Biology from Salisbury University and certificates in Campus Crisis Management from Colorado State University and College Admissions from Teachers College, Columbia University.
