Takeshi Fukuhara

Takeshi Fukuhara is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in neuroimmunology and antibody research. Currently serving as the Lab Head of Neuroimmunology at 大塚製薬株式会社 since December 2022, Fukuhara has previously held significant roles such as Senior Research Scientist at the Osaka Research Center for Drug Discovery and Adjunct Instructor at 順天堂大学. Notably, Fukuhara contributed to the establishment of a new lab at RIKEN, demonstrating expertise in laboratory development. As an Associate Professor at JUNTENDO UNIVERSITY, Fukuhara focused on innovative technologies for screening antibodies targeting neurodegenerative and rare diseases, and cancer. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University, along with advanced degrees from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
