Melissa Murphy

Melissa Murphy, RN, BSN, PACS has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare. Melissa started their career in 1998 as a Cardiac Surgical Nurse at Genesis Medical Center, where they worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Melissa then joined Mercy Hospital in 2001 as a Cardiac Surgical Nurse until 2002. Melissa returned to Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they started working at Merck Sharp & Dohme as a Neuropsychiatry Hospital Representative and also served as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative until 2013. Melissa currently works at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) and has held various roles, including Neuroscience Account Manager from 2013 to 2015, Patient Support Manager from 2015 to 2020, and Manager, Patient Education Liaison from 2020 to 2021. Melissa is currently serving as a Regional Patient Lead since August 2021.
