Amna Basit

Amna Basit is an experienced program and project manager specializing in infrastructure and compliance. Currently serving as Program Manager for Compliance and Training at the City of Ottawa since January 2020, Amna develops and executes the Risk Management Program for the Stage 2 Light Rail Transit project. Previous roles include Project Manager at Colliers International, where Amna contributed to a $4.66 billion infrastructure expansion program, and Senior Advisor at Metrolinx, focusing on the $16.2 billion GO Expansion program. Early career experiences include roles at GO Transit, Allstate, and York University, demonstrating expertise in community relations, communications, and planning. Amna holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
