Andrew King is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in program management and systems integration within the transportation sector. Currently serving as Program Manager for Vehicles, Signaling, and Testing & Commissioning at the City of Ottawa since March 2019, Andrew has progressed through various roles including Senior Engineer for Light Rail Vehicles and Signaling. Prior to this, Andrew worked as a Project Manager at TAL-CO BUILDING INNOVATIONS and as a Vehicle Engineer at Rail Operations within the City of Ottawa. Andrew's technical expertise was further developed at Ottawa Light Rail Transit Constructors and Bombardier Transportation's Systems Division, where notable contributions included systems design for multiple train systems and a nomination for the Bombardier Innovation Award. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
