Eric Ibey

Eric Ibey, P.Eng. is a skilled project manager with expertise in climate mitigation, currently serving the City of Ottawa since May 2023. In this role, Eric provides technical guidance on greenhouse gas mitigation and leads initiatives for commercial building retrofits. Prior experience includes serving as a Digital Content Coordinator for Canadian Parents for French, where Eric organized national virtual conferences and delivered bilingual workshops. Eric has also operated as an entrepreneur, developing an e-course and facilitating workshops for high school students. Previous roles include managing engineering projects at Concordia University and serving as Urban Development Coordinator for the City of Côte Saint-Luc. Eric's career began as an Engineering Consultant at Profor Engineering Services, focusing on HVAC assessments. Eric earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
