Krista Tanaka

Krista Tanaka is an accomplished transportation professional with extensive experience in municipal traffic services. Since March 2011, Krista has held several leadership roles at the City of Ottawa, including Director of Traffic Services, Manager of Traffic, Safety & Mobility, and Program Manager for Road Safety and Traffic Investigations. Prior to this, Krista worked as a Project Manager at iTRANS Consulting and as a Transportation Planner at Morrison Hershfield. Krista began their career as an Associate at Martin/Alexiou/Bryson P.C. Krista holds a Master Certificate in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering Transportation from North Carolina State University. Krista also earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Concordia University.
