Rawlson King

Rawlson King is a seasoned public servant currently serving as a City Councillor for Ward 13, Rideau-Rockcliffe on the Ottawa City Council since April 2019. In this role, King chairs the Built Heritage Committee and acts as Council Liaison for Anti-Racism and Ethnocultural Relations Initiatives. Prior to this position, King was the Communications Director at the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA) from May 2001 to April 2019, overseeing communications with a focus on marketing, strategic communication, and high-technology market research. King holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Journalism in Journalism and Law from Carleton University, as well as an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Bayview Glen School.
