Kristin Riddell

Kristin Riddell currently serves as the Superintendent of Education at Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) since August 2024, having previously held the same title at Renfrew County District School Board from August 2022 to August 2024. At RCDSB, Kristin was responsible for program services, leading initiatives in mathematics, student success, and assessment for grades 7-12. Kristin's experience at OCDSB dates back to September 2017, where roles included System Principal and Principal of A.Y. Jackson Secondary School and Osgoode Township High School. With a strong focus on student achievement, well-being, and equity, Kristin has participated in various educational leadership initiatives and committees. Kristin's educational background includes a Master of Pedagogy in International School Leadership and multiple degrees in education, English, history, and specialization certifications from institutions such as Western University and Lakehead University.
