Leona Novotny

Leona Novotny is an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics and physics. Currently serving as a Mathematics Teacher and Head of Department at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board since October 1999, Leona has previously taught math and physics in the Czech Republic from September 1986 to August 1989. Leona holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Lakehead University, obtained between 1994 and 1997, and completed secondary education at Gymnázium Petra Bezruče in Frýdek - Místek, Czech Republic, from 1977 to 1981.
