Alison Kinahan

Alison Kinahan is an accomplished educational leader with over two decades of experience in various roles within the Ottawa Catholic School Board, where currently serves as Vice Principal at a grade 7-12 school of 2000 students. Responsibilities encompass staffing, scheduling, coaching, and equity and inclusion initiatives. Previous positions include Coordinator Leading & Learning, where Alison managed multiple programs and served as a co-lead for board-level initiatives, and Literacy Consultant, focusing on literacy improvement strategies. Additionally, Alison has experience as a Classroom Teacher, Extended Day Program Staff, and served on committees at the University of Ottawa and the Ontario Ministry of Education. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Education degree with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan.
