Patricia Baker

Patricia Baker is a consultant with extensive experience in educational library design and makerspace development. Currently seeking a position, Patricia has authored "Creating a Learning Commons for the 21st Century with Design Thinking" and contributes to "The Teaching Librarian" magazine. Since January 2005, Patricia has worked with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, focusing on transforming school libraries into dynamic learning commons and delivering presentations on related topics. Additionally, Patricia has managed all aspects of school learning commons as a Library Technician, while also pursuing a personal business as a harpist. Patricia holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Waterloo and a diploma as a Library Technician from Sheridan College.
