Tim Piers is a Program Coordinator for Justice Partnerships at Ottawa County, where responsibilities include implementing comprehensive jail-based substance use disorder treatment services and fostering collaboration between Community Mental Health and law enforcement agencies. Previous roles include serving as a Jail Liaison, providing intervention and referral services for inmates, and as a Crisis Clinician offering crisis counseling through Community Mental Health. Tim has also worked as a Telephonic Clinician at R3 Continuum, delivering psychoeducation after workplace disruptions, and completed an internship focused on training and special projects in social services. Earlier experience includes positions as a Food-service Professional at MediLodge of Holland and Resident Assistant at Ottagan Addictions Recovery, along with managing Spoons Coffeehouse and Cafe. Tim holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University.
