Andrew J.E. Seely is a seasoned medical professional and academic with extensive experience in thoracic surgery and critical care medicine. Currently serving as a Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since 2014, Andrew also holds positions as Founder and Chief Science Officer at Therapeutic Monitoring Systems, where innovative clinical decision support systems are developed to enhance patient care, particularly for those with critical illnesses. As an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and a Thoracic Surgeon and Intensivist at the Ottawa Hospital since 2004, Andrew combines a robust clinical background with a commitment to research and education. Andrew's academic credentials include an MD PhD FRCSC from McGill University and a BSc in Honours Physics from Carleton University.
