Anouk Fortin

Anouk Fortin has extensive experience in technology transfer and research management, currently serving as the Manager of Technology Transfer at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since January 2005. In this role, Anouk Fortin focuses on fostering innovation through strategic partnerships, technology development, and commercialization while assisting scientists with intellectual property protection and management. Prior positions include Senior Technology Transfer Officer and Technology Transfer Officer at the same institute. Anouk Fortin's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at StemPath Inc., where project development and management were key responsibilities, and as an Industrial Post-doc at Angiogene Inc., focusing on research programs related to hypoxia-induced proteins and gene therapy for heart failure. Anouk Fortin holds a PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal.
