Barbara Vanderhyden

Barbara Vanderhyden is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the fields of physiology and research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since April 2004, Vanderhyden also holds the position of Professor at the University of Ottawa since January 1991. Additionally, Vanderhyden was the Director of Science Travels at the University of Ottawa from 2006 to 2015. Previous experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Jackson Laboratory from June 1988 to December 1990. Barbara Vanderhyden earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiology from the University of Western Ontario, where a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field was also obtained.
