Dalia Ibrahim is a dedicated researcher currently serving as a Student Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where responsibilities include testing novel Transglutaminase 2 inhibitors in relation to ovarian cancer under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Vanderhyden. Previous experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher involved efforts to improve health outcomes for head and neck cancer patients while also supporting and training new students. Dalia has served as a Co-investigator, collecting and analyzing patient data on soft tissue sarcomas. Earlier roles at the City of Ottawa included positions as a Customer Service Representative and Attendant in Recreation and Culture, as well as a Summer Camp Counselor, focusing on client assistance and child safety. Dalia holds a Bachelor of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
