Daniel Coutu

Daniel Coutu is an accomplished academic and researcher with a focus on stem cell dynamics. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and a Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since June 2018, Coutu's prior experience includes postdoctoral positions at ETH Zurich and HelmholtzZentrum München. Coutu's doctoral education culminated in a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University, complemented by postdoctoral studies specializing in stem cell biology. Coutu's research contributions include a significant project on in vivo fate mapping studies of skeletal and mesenchymal stem cells under the supervision of Prof. Timm Schroeder at ETH Zurich. Coutu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Université de Montréal.
