David Cook is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and a Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, roles held since January 2024. Previously, David worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Wrana lab at Sinai Health from July 2021 to January 2024 and as a PhD Student in the Vanderhyden Lab at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute from September 2016 to August 2021. David's research focuses on ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling in mouse embryonic stem cells, with a particular interest in the specificity of these complexes and their relationship to key transcriptional regulators. Additionally, David served as a Teaching Assistant for Anatomy and Physiology courses at the University of Ottawa from January 2013 to April 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine, a Master's Degree in the same field, and a Bachelor of Science, all obtained from the University of Ottawa.
