Faria has previous experience in various research roles at reputable institutions such as McGill University, National Research Council Canada, and University of Ottawa. With a Master's Degree in Microbiology and Immunology, Faria also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, as well as a HBScN Honours Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing. In addition to research, Faria has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at CHEO and served as a Teaching Assistant at University of Ottawa.
