Giorgia Sulis

Associate Scientist at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute

Giorgia Sulis currently serves as Canada Research Chair in Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa, with additional roles as Associate Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Member of the McGill International Tuberculosis Centre. Giorgia has a robust background in epidemiology, having conducted postdoctoral research and teaching at McGill University. Prior experience includes a fellowship at ASST Spedali Civili di Brescia, an internship with the World Health Organization, and a research fellow position at DSCS - University of Brescia, where contributions focused on infectious diseases, particularly within migrant populations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Epidemiology from McGill University and a Doctor of Medicine from Università degli Studi di Pavia, complemented by specialized training in infectious and tropical diseases.
