Mel Dodd-Moher serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since January 2021, specializing in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. Previous roles include Clinical Research Assistant II and I within the same division. Mel also worked as a Mental Performance Consultant for the Varsity Women's Hockey Team at Carleton University from September 2022 to March 2023, and as a Physical Activity Counsellor at the University of Ottawa, contributing to research focused on young adult cancer survivors. Additional experience encompasses mental performance coaching at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, along with leadership roles in fitness and environmental monitoring. Mel holds a Master of Human Kinetics in Intervention and Consultation (Sport Psychology) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology from Queen's University.
