Michael Dans

Michael Dans is an experienced clinical research coordinator currently working at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since April 2023, previously holding the same position at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute from February 2022 to April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa from July 2021 to August 2022 and at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute from May 2018 to March 2020, where research focused on gay men's health and HIV prevention, involving chart reviews and data analysis using SPSS. Additionally, Michael worked as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatry at The Ottawa Hospital from June 2021 to February 2022 and as a lifeguard/swim instructor for the City of Ottawa from June 2015 to November 2019. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa and is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing at the same institution from September 2023 to April 2025.
