Ottawa Hospital Research Institute
Raksha Shriraam is a research assistant at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since June 2022, with prior experience as a grant and contributions officer at Environment and Climate Change Canada from May 2022 to February 2023. Previously, Raksha served as a screener at Sunnybrook, responsible for screening patients and visitors for COVID-19 symptoms and acting as a translator for Tamil-speaking individuals. Raksha's career began as a senior project coordinator for the International Medical Health Organization Canada in June 2018. Educationally, Raksha completed a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa in August 2023, following an Honours Bachelor of Science in Translational and Molecular Medicine from the same institution in 2022.
