Hojat Nazari is a Research Assistant, Visiting Fellow, and Junior Research Fellow at UNSW since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Microscopy Superuser and Casual Academic at the University of Technology Sydney from November 2021 to September 2025, specializing in Biomedical Polymers and Advanced Microscopy and Imaging. Hojat has served as a PHD Candidate, Life Scientist in Stem Cells at Imam Khomeini Hospital, and Life Scientist at Zhino Gene Research Co. from October 2020 to October 2021, as well as a Life Scientist at Tehran Heart Center from January 2017 to October 2020. Early career involvement includes working as a Hematology and Immunology expert in a Private Medical Laboratory from January 2010 to January 2012. Hojat is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney, with an expected completion in November 2024, and holds a Master of Science in Medical Nanotechnology from IRAN University of Medical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences.
