Saif Zabarah

Saif Zabarah is a skilled data analyst currently employed at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since August 2023. With a strong background in machine learning as a research assistant at CANARIE since June 2020, Saif has designed systems for large-scale data analysis and developed cybersecurity models that detect numerous threats daily. Additional roles include serving as a graduate research and teaching assistant at the University of Waterloo, where responsibilities included assignment development and exam proctoring. Saif's experience also encompasses a DNA methylation analysis co-op position at the National Research Council Canada, and several internships focused on software development and analytics at companies such as Ciena, Kinaxis, and BlackBerry QNX.
