Sarah MacLean

Sarah MacLean is a senior clinical research associate at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, overseeing outputs for the Hatching Ideas Labs and managing lab communications and events. In addition, Sarah serves as a research assistant at Carleton University, supporting a mixed methods study on faculty writing groups during COVID-19. Previous roles at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute included providing mentorship and managing research projects and grants. Sarah has a strong academic background with a Doctorate in Communication and Media Studies in progress at Carleton University, alongside a Master's in Criminology and undergraduate degrees in Sociology and Psychology from McGill University and Criminology from the University of Ottawa. Sarah has also gained experience in various research and administrative roles across multiple institutions.
