Carrie Stevens

Carrie Stevens has a diverse work experience that spans over different roles and industries. From 1998 to 2011, they worked as an Assistant Defender at the Illinois State Appellate Defender. In 2011, they transitioned to become an Attorney at The Law Offices of Carrie B. Stevens, where they worked until 2016. Stevens then joined Ottawa University, first as an Adjunct Instructor from 2015 to 2016, and later as the Director of Compliance, Title IX Coordinator, and ADA Coordinator from 2016 to 2018. Finally, they assumed the role of Associate Vice President of Compliance, Title IX Coordinator, and ADA Coordinator at Ottawa University in 2018, where they currently oversee university compliance with federal rules and regulations.

Carrie Stevens attended San Diego State University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. Carrie then pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from DePaul University College of Law from 1995 to 1998.
