Tingfeng Xia

Tingfeng Xia has worked as a software engineer intern at Ovopark in 2018, where they hybridized and fine-tuned binarization algorithms for an image pre-processing task. In 2019, Xia was a software engineer intern at ImageSky where they overhauled the user management database and implemented the backend for a web application to monitor water quality, shortening retrieval time by 50%. Xia worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Computer Science in the University of Toronto from 2020-2021. Xia was a software engineer intern at Meta in 2022. Currently, Xia is a software engineer at Otter.ai, starting in 2023.

Tingfeng Xia attended Suzhou Foreign Language School from 2005 to 2017, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on GCE and A-Level studies. From 2017 to 2021, Xia attended the University of Toronto and obtained their Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Tingfeng is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at UCLA and is expected to graduate in 2023.
