Michael Skahan

Michael Skahan is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at OtterBox since January 2017, specializing in task and time management for project engineers, advanced SolidWorks mechanical design, and Enterprise PDM data management. Prior to this role, Michael served as the Director of Design & Development at VQ OrthoCare from February 2006 to January 2017, where expertise encompassed new product conceptualization, design, development, production setup, and market release, along with staffing and project management responsibilities. Michael also held the position of Director of Design & Development at OMNI Life Science, Inc. for a brief period in 2005 before its acquisition by VQ OrthoCare. From 1995 to 2005, Michael worked as a Project Manager and Design Engineer at Ossur, formerly Royce Medical Company. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, completed in 1995.
