J. Scott Drennan

J. Scott Drennan serves as President and COO of Otto Aviation since October 2022 and is the CEO and Founder of Drennan Innovation since October 2020. Drennan also holds several strategic advisory positions, including roles at REGENT, New Vista Capital, Elroy Air, and Near Earth Autonomy, and has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Electric Power Systems since April 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Chief R&D Officer for Advanced Air Mobility at Hyundai Motor Group from March 2020 to October 2020, and a long tenure at Bell Flight from July 1993 to March 2020 where Drennan held various engineering leadership roles. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Southern Methodist University.
