Alex Child

Alex Child is a Quality Engineering Technician at Ottobock since January 2023, previously serving as a Quality Systems Specialist II/Complaint Coordinator at BD from December 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included submitting Medical Device Reports and Decision Trees to the FDA. While at BD, Alex returned to school and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Utah Valley University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Earlier experience includes a role as a Customer Service Specialist at Veterans First Mortgage from July 2016 to October 2018, where Alex managed online inquiries and connected potential clients with loan officers. Alex holds multiple degrees from Salt Lake Community College, including associates in Mechanical Engineering and General Studies.
