Mary Holter

Mary Holter is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center since January 2014 and has served as Faculty at OU Nursing since August 2010. Holter was a Board Member for NAPNAP from 1983 to 2014 and worked as a Pediatric Consultant for the Oklahoma State Department of Health from December 1994 to July 1999. Holter holds a Doctor of Nurse Practice degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Iowa (2012-2013) and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington (1989-1991).

OU Nursing - Life Stage Solutions will help ease the burden and stress caused by making elder care decisions. We offer a collaborative approach to assessing, coordinating, educating, and managing healthcare services for seniors and persons of all ages with disabilities. An experienced, professional case manager will assist families in making sound short and long-term medical, emotional, and financial decisions. A clear, individualized plan for coordinating health care will be drafted based upon your input, goals, needs and desires. Through disease management, we prevent unnecessary or repetitive medical care in conditions such as Depression, Dementia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Diabetes. Caregiver support and fall management programs are also available. We strive to ensure that the client receives all the necessary services to promote health and maximize well-being while helping the client remain independent.
