Jeff Gudin

Jeff Gudin MD serves as a faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, since September 2020. As a co-founder of Virpax Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 2017, Jeff has been involved in the research and development of analgesics with a focus on studying Enkephalin through a NCATS grant. From June 2015 to July 2023, Jeff held the position of Senior Medical Affairs Director at Quest Diagnostics, where responsibilities included leading medical affairs activities for the Toxicology and Drug Monitoring franchise. Previously, Jeff owned the Pain Management and Wellness Center from 2000 to 2020 and served as the Director of Pain Management and Palliative Care at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center until 2019. Additionally, Jeff functioned as an expert witness in pain management cases from 2000 to 2019. Education includes a Pain Management Fellowship and Anesthesiology Residency at Yale School of Medicine between 1993 and 1997.
