Anne Sorvari

Anne Sorvari is an experienced professional with a strong focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Currently serving as a Board Member at Polar Bear Pitching since January 2023 and as Development Manager at Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Anne is dedicated to fostering startup programs and supporting students in their entrepreneurial pursuits. Previously, Anne held various leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board for Airnest Productions Oy, where the annual Air Guitar World Championships are organized, and Business Specialist at the University of Oulu, focusing on bridging the gap between students and enterprises. With a foundational background in international business, Anne co-founded Gugguu Ltd, an ecological children's clothing brand, and has actively contributed to community development and accelerator programs in Oulu. Anne holds a Master’s Degree from Oulu Business School and has participated in exchange programs in marketing and operations.
