Pekka Isomursu

Pekka Isomursu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user-centered design and technology. Currently serving as Principal Lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and User Experience Expert at Mediverstas, Pekka has also held the position of Associate Professor at Aalto University since 2005. Prior roles include Senior SW Engineering Expert at Hiottu Oy and various management positions at Nokia, where responsibilities encompassed experience design and media content communication. Pekka began a career as a Senior Research Scientist at VTT and holds a Doctor of Technology and an EMBA from the University of Oulu, along with qualifications in vocational teaching and photography. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Arts in Visual Arts at the University of Lapland, Pekka combines a strong technical background with a passion for visual arts and education.
