Teemu Leppänen

Teemu Leppänen is an accomplished educator and researcher specializing in software development and the Internet of Things (IoT). Currently serving as Principal Lecturer at Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Leppänen focuses on developing and teaching bachelor and master level courses. Previous positions include University Lecturer at the University of Oulu, where responsibilities encompassed supervising students and teaching embedded systems programming, as well as research in edge computing. Additional experience includes roles as a visiting research scientist in Italy and Japan, co-owner and R&D advisor at Radai, and various software engineering positions. Leppänen holds a Doctor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Oulu, along with several other relevant degrees.
