Virpi Pelto

Virpi Pelto is an experienced leader in the fields of healthcare and technology, currently serving as the Director of the School of Wellbeing and Culture at Oulu University of Applied Sciences since September 2025. Prior to this role, Virpi held various positions at BCB Medical Ltd from February 2020 to September 2025, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of Data & Analytics, focusing on digital solutions and consulting in healthcare. Earlier career highlights include senior roles at Salivirta & Partners and CGI, where Virpi was Director of Consulting and held several product management positions. With a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Oulu, Virpi also has qualifications in vocational teacher education and nursing, enhancing a diverse professional background.
