Diana van der Plaat

Diana van der Plaat has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Diana is currently working at Our Future Health UK as an Epidemiology Analyst since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Fellow at Imperial College London from January 2019 to January 2022. Diana also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INSERM Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale from September 2017 to December 2018.

Before their research roles, Diana served as the Head of educational events at GOPHER groningen, the PhD organization of the University of Groningen, from November 2016 to October 2017. Diana also worked as a Phd-student (aio) at the University Medical Center Groningen from June 2014 to September 2017.

In addition, Diana gained valuable experience through internships. Diana van der Plaat has a diverse education history. Diana obtained a Master's degree in Epidemiologie from the University of Groningen, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Diana pursued their second Master's degree in Molecular Life Sciences - Biomedical Research at Wageningen University & Research from 2011 to 2013. Diana'sfirst Bachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc), was earned in Biotechnology - Forensic Sciences from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Diana has also pursued several additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Diana obtained a CybSafe Certification in Security Awareness from CybSafe in October 2022. In October 2015, they completed a course titled "Epidemiology: The Basic Science of Public Health" and earned a certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Diana also obtained a certification in "Introduction to R" from DataCamp in September 2015.
