Fiona Reddington

Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at Our Future Health

Fiona Reddington has extensive work experience in various organizations within the healthcare industry. Starting in 2001, they worked as the UCL Clinical Research Network (CRN) Project Manager for Cancer and Honorary Research Fellow at the Department of Oncology, Royal Free Hospital in London. In 2002, they became the UCL NTRAC Centre Manager at the UCL NTRAC Centre, Royal Free Hospital. From 2003 to 2007, Fiona held roles at the National TRAnslational Cancer Research Network (NTRAC) and the NCRI Informatics Initiative in London, serving as the Bioinformatics Lead and then as the Scientific Programme Manager. In 2006, they became the Section Head - Community Alliances at NCRI Informatics.

In 2008, Fiona joined Cancer Research UK (CRUK) as the Head of Population Research Funding, a position they held until 2012. During their time at CRUK, they also served as the Head of Clinical and Population Research Funding from 2012 to 2015.

In 2019, Fiona worked as the Interim Chief Operating Officer at Early Disease Detection Research Project UK, now known as Our Future Health. Continuing their work there, they became the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships in 2020. Additionally, they worked for a brief period as the Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at EDDRP UK, later renamed Our Future Health.

Through their various roles, Fiona has developed expertise in strategic partnerships, population research funding, clinical research, and bioinformatics within the healthcare sector.

Fiona Reddington completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology at University College Dublin from 1993 to 1997. Fiona then pursued a PhD in Neurophysiology at King's College London from 1997 to 2000.
