Quality Operations Coordinator at Our Future Health

Jo Marchant has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jo started their career in 1994 at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust. Jo then worked at Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as a Phlebotomy Service Manager & IPC Practitioner, where they provided supervision, management, and training for the phlebotomy department and GP practices.

Jo later joined Phlebotomy Training Services as a Phlebotomy Tutor, Assessor, IQA, and Phlebotomy Practitioner, teaching students across the UK and Ireland. Jo also worked at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Phlebotomy Services Manager and IPC Practitioner.

In 2020, Jo joined IQVIA as a Regional Clinical Manager for the Covid Infection Survey, and later became a Regional Manager. Jo then transitioned to Our Future Health UK as a Quality Operations Coordinator in 2023.

Throughout their career, Jo has developed expertise in clinical skills, phlebotomy, infection control, and quality operations. Jo has also gained experience as a tutor, assessor, and mentor in various healthcare settings.

Jo Marchant attended Alsager Comprehensive School from 1984 to 1989, where they studied Graphic Design. Following this, from 1990 to 1992, they attended South Cheshire College in Crewe, Cheshire, focusing on Graphic Design and Fine Art. From 2010 to 2015, Jo Marchant pursued Degree Modules in Health and Social Care at the University of Chester. In addition to their formal education, Jo Marchant obtained several certifications, including the CybSafe Certification in Security Awareness from CybSafe in April 2023, the NOCN level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice from One Awards in March 2017, and a BTEC in Planning and Delivering Teaching in the lifelong sector. The institution from which they obtained the BTEC certification is unknown, but it was obtained in June 2005.
