Rita Spilken

Rita Spilken is the Founder and CEO of the "Our House" foundation, a position held since 2004, where notable efforts include celebrating Purple Heart recipients alongside Bobby Henline. Rita has previously served as a College Counselor and Professor at Sullivan County Community College from January 1980 to June 1989, during which time the course "Men, Women and Violence in America" was created and included in the American Sociological Association's inaugural manual on "Violence in Schools." Rita's academic qualifications include a Psy.D. in Family and Neuro-psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology (1992-1997) and an MA in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz (1983-1985).
