Benedict Quek

Benedict Quek has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Benedict currently works as a Financial Reporting and System Manager at IDEA Public Schools since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Business Director - Education Retirement Program at Our Infinite Co. starting in August 2018. Benedict also served as a Senior Compliance Analyst at FRISCO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT from January 2020 to October 2021. In their previous role as the Restricted Programs Coordinator at Uplift Education, they managed financial reporting and reconciliation for federal and state programs. Benedict also worked as an Associate at World Financial Group (WFG) and held a leadership position as the VP Sales at DewCarat Limited. Benedict began their career at CHEP, where they had roles including Sales and Service Manager and Business Development. Overall, Benedict Quek brings a wealth of experience in finance, compliance, and sales.

Benedict Quek has a diverse educational background. In 1986, they began their undergraduate studies at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honors in Psychology with a focus on Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Benedict'sundergraduate education lasted until 1990.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Benedict Quek went on to further their studies at Hawaii Pacific University. From 1991 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing.

In addition to their formal education, Benedict Quek has also obtained a certification as a Certified Texas School Business Specialist (CTSBS) from TASBO in May 2021. This certification showcases their expertise and knowledge in the area of school business management.
